MUMBAI: A full-on 'faadu' episode of Sony Entertainment Television's The Kapil Sharma Show awaits this weekend! This Saturday's episode will be graced by the amazing team of Sony LIV's web series 'Faadu: A Love Story', which includes Saiyami Kher, Abhilash Thapliyal, Pavail Gulati and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. The special guest will not only make some surprising revelations but also laugh out loud with Host Kapil Sharma and his atrangi mohalla who will be at their best!
In the midst of the fun banter, Host Kapil Sharma will pull Abhilash Thapliyal’s leg by asking if the producers provided him with a script or an alcohol bottle for the role. Abhilash jokingly replies, “Yes, I did get a bottle but not of alcohol but of Glycerin (laughs).” Pavail Gulati will go on to joke about how every actor has an entourage cost, but Abhilash had a separate budget for glycerin as he never entered the set without glycerin.
Abhilash will go on to spill the beans about the glycerin story, saying, “My character is an alcoholic but on the other hand I am a teetotaler. And Ashwiny ma’am was very precise about how the character looked, so I made it a point to personify the look on screen. My character looks very tanned and shabby, he drinks a lot, so even before the wine shop opens, he is waiting at the gate. His eyes have a slight shine so to get that I used glycerine.”
Complimenting such dedication of Abhilash, co-star Saiyami Kher says, “Abhilash plays the role of an alcoholic so whenever we used to sit in Pavail’s vanity, people on set would not recognize him and would try to throw him out thinking he is some random man, his look was that realistic.”
