Anita Lerche and Diljit Dosanjh among 7 nominees for Best International Artist award

INDIANAPOLIS: Danish-American Punjabi singer Anita Lerche and Diljit Dosanjh of India are among seven nominees for the Best International Artist award for the tenth Annual UK Bhangra Awards to be presented on December 9 at The Conference Suite, West Bromwich, Birmingham, 5 pm to 11:30 pm GMT.
It is the sixth time twice-winner Anita has been nominated for the award.
The nominees are: Anita Lerche (Denmark) - UKBA 2301,
AP Dhillon (Canada) - UKBA 2302, Biba Singh (USA) - UKBA 2303, Diljit Dosanjh (India) - UKBA 2304, F1rstman (Netherlands) - UKBA 2305, Kamal Chopra (Malaysia) - UKBA 2306 and Luv Randhawa (Canada) - UKBA 2307.
Nominations for the Best Publication are: Asian Express Newspaper, Asian World News, Des Pardes Weekly, Eastern Eye, Jagatwani, Mann Jitt Weekly and The Asian Today.
Nominees for the Best Female singers are: Deesh Sandhu, Mahhi Kaur, Mehak Jamaal, Raj Heer, Roma Sagar, Ruby Akhtar, Sania Salan..
Nominees for the Best Male singer are: Badal Talwan, Benny Dhaliwal, Garry Sandhu, Jassi Sidhu, Meshi Sandhu, Milan, and Raf Saperra.
The tenth annual UK Bhangra Awards, the table seated red carpet family event, is not just any occasion, but a unique experience of prestigious awards, live performances, fabulous exhibitors, a delicious three course Indian meal and an illuminating dance floor, according to information received from Serena Gill.
Popular renowned singers, dancers, musicians and dj are ready to rock the stage.
