NAKODAR: The Nakodar city police have arrested a woman on the charge of stealing cash from a house.The investigating officer (IO) Paramjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Harprit Kaur a resident of Sabuwal village under Sultan Pur Lodhi police station Kapurthala .
Japal Singh a resident of Balhukmi same village had complained to the police that the accused was working as maid in his house and stole cash on April 3 and fled away.
IO said that a case under section 380(theft in dwelling house) and 454(Lurking house-trespass) of the IPC was registered against the accused and section 381of the IPC .
