LOHIAN:The Lohian Khas police have booked a villager on the charge of stealing a smart phone from a house.The investigating officer Avtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Arash Dep Singh alias Arshi a resident of Mundi Chohalia village.
Swaran Kaur a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into her house scaling a wall on August 2 very early morning and stole a smartphone
IO said a case under sections 457 (lurking house-trespass) and 380(theft in dwelling house) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
