JAIPUR: In a significant administrative overhaul, the Rajasthan government has transferred 65 IAS officers, including Collectors of 25 districts, signalling a major reshuffle across the state.
The Tuesday late-night move also brings key changes to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), with the replacement of the Chief Minister’s Secretary and Special Secretaries.
Jaipur Collector Jitendra Soni has been appointed Secretary to the Chief Minister and Secretary of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR).
Sandesh Nayak, who was serving as Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been posted as the new Jaipur Collector. Among other key changes, Tina Dabi has been transferred from Barmer to Tonk as District Collector. Her sister, Ria Dabi, has also been reassigned in the reshuffle.
The reshuffle has led to a significant restructuring within the CMO.
