PHAGWARA: In two separate shocking incidents, two young Wives were reportedly murdered by their husbands last night. In first incident One Young Woman Manjit Kaur was reportedly strangulated by her husband Kulwant Singh in Village Bohani last night.
DSP Sultanpur Lodhi Sarwan Singh Bal while confirming it told this correspondent here today that the accused threw the dead body of the deceased wife in nearby Corn Crops after strangling her with her duppatta.
DSP said the police have registered a case under section 302/201 of IPC and arrested the killer husband Kulwant Singh. The Police are investigating the cause to find out the cause of murder.The Dead Body of the deceased woman was handed over to her parents after post-mortem examination conducted in civil hospital.
In second case a Young Villager Balraj Singh allegedly murdered his own wife Monica by strangling her in his house in Village Mahal near Banga in wee hours today. Extra-marital relations of the killer with his own sister-in-law(Bhabhi) were said to be the cause of murder, the police said. The Police have arrested the accused under relevant sections of the IPC and handed over the body to her parents after autopsy conducted in civil hospital Banga.
