Two villagers booked for attempt to murder, snatching

NURMAHAL: The Bilga police have booked two villagers on the charges of attempt to murder and snatching.The investigating officer (IO) Mohan Lal said that the accused have been identified as Jswindar alias Bagga a resident of Thamannwal village and Mangi a resident of Burj Kela village .

Parkash Kaur wife of Chaman Lal a resident of Thamannwal complained to the police that she was returning home on February 19 when the accused attacked her with sharp edged weapons with an intention to kill her and snatched her golden earrings.

IO said that a case under sections 307(attempt to murder), 427(mischief) and 379-B (snatching) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. No arrests have been made and further investigations are on.
