NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling poppy husk. The Investigating Officer Sanjivan Singh said that 5 kilograms poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Harwindar Singh alias Abhi a resident of colony plot, Thabalke village .
IO said that a case under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
Meanwhile the Nurmahal police arrested a drug peddler Rajindar Kumar alias Sunny a resident of Kandola Kalan Chhana village with 100 intoxicant tablets, said The I.O. Kulwindar Singh.
