NAKODAR:The Nakodar city police have booked two persons on the charges of outraging a woman’s modesty and voluntarily causing hurt.The Station House Officer (SHO) Harjindar Kaur said that the accused have been identified as Atama Ram and Ginda residents of Mohalla Guru Nanak Pura.
Priya( not real name) a resident of the same locality complained to the police that the accused assaulted and used filthy language against her and tore her clothes.
SHO said that a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 354-B (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) of the Indian Penal Code and section 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act has been registered against the accused.
