CHANDIGARH: A 31-year-old woman, her son, and her mother killed themselves in a village of Malerkotla district, police said on Thursday, Police have booked several people, including the woman's mother-in-law, under the charge of abetment of suicide.
Before allegedly consuming poison, the woman made a video in which she named at least 10individuals for harassment and threating her and her family. Malerkotla superintendent of police Satpal Sharma said the bodies the woman and her mother were found in their house on Wednesday. "The nine-year-old boy was found unconscious and rushed to a hospital where he died during treatment, " Sharma said.
Based on the woman's brother, police have registered a case against woman's mother-in-law, her neighbor, and a few others at the Sandaur police satation.
