SHAHKOT: The Shahkot police have booked a youth on the charge of sodomizing a nine-year-old child.
The Station House Officer (SHO) Balwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Nitin Kumarson of Bhagwan Pandit a resident of Shahkot.
The mother of the victim complained to the police that the accused sodomized her 9-year-old son and brutally injured him.
SHO said that a case under section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO) Act 2012 has been registered against the accused.
