NAKODAR:The Nakodar sadar police have booked seven persons on the charges of voluntarily causing hurt, criminal intimidation and rioting.The investigating officer(IO) Sukhwindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Karan and Amu residents of Shankar village, Gora of Tahli village , Sandip of Chak Muglanni village, Fauji of Sharak Pur village and one , Rohin and their one unidentified accomplice .
Ajay Kumar a resident of Shankar village complained to the police that the accused attacked him when he went to a temple for paying his obeisance and seriously injured him and threatened him.
IO said that a case under sections 323, 325(voluntarily causing grievous hurt), 451 (house trespass) 506(criminal intimidation) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
