PATIALA: A state level huge protest rally has been planned on February 4 in front of PSPCL Head Office, demanding to stop selling properties of Power Department, oppose Electricity bill 2025 and installation of 2 thermal units of 800MW in Ropar, said Ajaypal Singh Atwal general secretary of PSEB Engineers Association.
The gathering of employees , engineers , pensioners will exceed 4000.The rally is being held at the invitation of Power Sector Joint Action Committee.
The employees and engineers are on war path for the last so many months but government is not listening. The rally will also decide future course of action.
Atwal said that let's fight together and save the public electricity sector for the common people of Punjab.
