PHAGWARA: The parents n residents of Phagwara raised noisy demonstration against a teacher of a private school in Mohalla Subhash Nagar area or forcibly showing a pornographic film to a girl student on Thursday.
On hearing the news They rushed to the school to protest and smeared soot on the face of the accused teacher after beating him up.
SHO City Police Navdeep Singh along with the party rushed to the spot and took the teacher into custody. The girl's mother Pooja alleged that the teacher had come to her girl's school for tuition where she sent the rest of the students and tried to force her to show the film. Which she reported to her family.
The school principal strongly condemned the incident and said that she had taken immediate action and expelled the teacher from the school. The SHO said that the matter was being investigated by recording the statement of the complainant and any action would be taken
