PHAGWARA: Two armed motorcyclist assailants identified as Kamaljit Singh and Manjinder Singh shot dead a Villager Ram Labhyia in nearby village Ramgarh on Saturday. Ram Labhayia was first admitted in local civil hospital but was referred to Jalandhar Hospital where he succumbed to his bullet injuries.
S.P. Phagwara Sarabjit Singh Bahia rushed to the spot. Personal enmity was said to be the cause of murder. The killers sped away after killing the villager Ram Labhayia. The Police have registered a case against the killers and handed over the dead body of the deceased to his family members after autopsy conducted in local civil hospital.
In another criminal incident some armed robbers snatched a Maruti Breeza Car no PB-36H- 6925 from a Phagwara resident Ankush late last night. The Robbers succeeded to flee alongwith snatched car towards Banga.SP Sarabjit Bahia rushed to the spot. A case has been registered.
