PHAGWARA: A Newly married young boy reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling fan at his residence in Valmiki Mohalla near Bazar Bansanwala Phagwara this afternoon. The deceased was identified as Honey (38).
The deceased was alone at home. Sunny the brother of the deceased reached at home around 2PM and saw him hanging with hook of ceiling fan. He informed to the police.The Police took dead body in custody and shifted to mortuary of Civil Hospital Phagwara.It is mentioned here that, the deceased Honey was married on February 25. He was in depression due to personal problems, the police said.The Police is investigating the matter and sent the body to civil hospital for post-mortem examination.
In another incident one youth named Deepak (22) reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with the ceiling at his house in mohalla Santpura Kapurthala today morning.Deep Stress was said to be the cause of suicide, the police said.The Police have registered a case under 174 CRPC and sent the dead body to Kapurthala civil hospital for autopsy.
