SHAHKOT:The Shahkot police have arrested a convict in a murder case for jumping bail.The Investigating Officer (IO)Salwindar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Rajwindar Singh son of Harjindar Singh a resident of Sohal Jagir l village.
IO said d that the convict was released from Pathan Kot sub-jail on parole on March 9 but did not present himself at the jail after the expiry of leave.
IO said that case sections 8 (2) and 9 of The Punjab Good Conduct Prisoner Temporary Release Act has been registered against the accused.
