PHAGWARA: Man shoots himself dead as he was suffering from acute depression following dispute with his wife at local Inder Vihar locality here today said police.
Kapurthala city Deputy Superientendent of police Deep Karan Singh confirmed the death of deceased by shooting himself .
Police identified the deceased as Sukhchain Singh (48) resident Kapurthala.
Police said deceased had a dispute with his wife and his wife had gone to his parents following dispute few days ago.
The deceased went to his in laws and severally beaten his wife and police had registered a case following complaint by his wife.
Police said deceased fired at him from a illegal weapon. Police is investigating the case
