NAKODAR: The Nakodar city has booked a person in a dowry harassment case.The investigating officer (IO) Gurdial Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gursewak Singh a resident of Khandur village in Ludhiana and husband of the complainant.
Dashwindar Kaur wife of Gursewak Singh a resident of Sohal khurd village complained to the police that her husband forcibly thrown out her from his house and forced her to die for bring more dowry.
IO said that a case under sections 498-A ((husband or relative of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of the IPC has been registered against the accused
