RCED gave skill tips to Migrant workers under PDOT

CHANDIGARH: In a pioneering initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), in tandem with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the Pre-Departure Orientation Training (PDOT) program has successfully engaged participants hailing from the distinguished regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

This collaborative effort aims to equip migrant workers with invaluable knowledge encompassing cultural nuances, linguistic proficiency and regulatory insights pertinent to their forthcoming journeys abroad, ensuring their utmost safety and security.

Administered by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and meticulously facilitated at the esteemed Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED), this program stands as a beacon of empowerment and preparation for aspiring migrant workers. Under the expert guidance of Mr. Satvinder Singh, whose expertise has been instrumental in honing the skills and awareness of the participants, the culmination of this training witnessed a momentous occasion.

Certificates of accomplishment were bestowed upon the deserving candidates, an act graciously overseen by Mr. Paramjit Singh, the esteemed Director of RCED.

Prof. Gurvinder, alongside Mr. Vijay Arora, the distinguished General Managerhas extended their invaluable support and expertise, contributing to the resounding success of the program.
