AMRITSAR: Students of Khalsa College of Engineering and Technology (KCET) bagged jobs at the minimum package of Rs. 6.7 Lakhs during Campus Placement Drive. Students’ outshined in the performance and came out with flying colors. Students form the branches, Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering were selected for the various job roles during the placement drive.

The companies offered diverse roles, catering to the different academic backgrounds and interests of the students, said KCET Director Dr. Manju Bala, praised the professors for their hard work and expressed pleasure in the accomplishments of the selected students. "Our commitment to providing quality education, industry-aligned curriculum, and holistic development has resulted in the outstanding success of our students in the placement drive, " said Dr. Bala.

She said that college plans to collaborate with more industry partners, introduce new skill development programs, and expand its network to provide even greater opportunities for its students in the future. She informed that students have been also selected for the paid internship from IIT Roorkee and National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and Trademax. Pvt. Ltd

Among the selected candidates are Shubham and Rayees from Electronics and Communication Engineering; Mohd. UzairMir (Computer Science and Engineering) and Deepak from Department of Mechanical Engineering at the initial annual package of 6.7 Lakhs. All these students have been selected as Business Development Executives. Aarzoo, Savneet Kaur and Arshdeep Singh from Computer Science and Engineering have been selected as Development Associates. Whereas Muskan, Simranjeet, and Shivam from Electronics and communication Engineering have been selected a Trainee Engineer.

A student from Civil Engineering ; Sukhmani Singh has been selected for internship from NHAI whereas Shubham Bhardwaj and Arshdeep Singh from CSE have been selected for internship from IIT Roorkee.
