AMRITSAR: The PG department of Physics, Khalsa College Amritsar organized 7th National Conference on Current Advances in Physical Sciences (CAPS-2024) Dr. D.P. Singh, Professor Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Dr. Paramdeep Singh Chandi, IISER Mohali were the guest speakers in the conference.
They stressed on significance of phase diagram and microstructures in material science and new experiments in the teaching of Physics apart from in house development of required instruments in Physics lab., said Principal Dr.Mehal Singh. Dr. Taminder Singh, Dean Academic Affairs formally welcomed the Guest speakers and the delegates. Dr. Harvinder Kaur, Dean Sciences and Convener of the conference introduced the theme of the conference.
The presentation and poster presentation sessions were held during the conference and prizes for first three positions were distributed. Dr. Gurinder Pal Singh and Dr. Gursharn Kaur, Associate Professor presented a vote of Thanks to all the guests and participants.
