AMRITSAR: The University Business School of Guru Nanak Dev University organised an Inter-Department Business Quiz “BIZ-BRAIN”. The event was organised by “DINERO FINANCE CLUB” of UBS Department under the mentorship of Dr. Ritima Khindri, faculty member along with student co-ordinators Anshjot Singh and Archit Verma. The event witnessed wide participation from the students of various departments of the University.
As many as 128 participants contested as teams .They competed on several rounds of elimination displaying business knowledge to make it to the final round of the event.
Aditya Arora and Aryan Rawlley from UBS Department won the first position bagging a cash prize of Rs.1000/- along with trophy & appreciation certificates sponsored by Career Launcher, Amritsar. The event was conducted in the presence of Dr. Vikram Sandhu, Placement Incharge, UBS Department along with Dr. Jasveen Kaur Incharge, Academic Affairs Committee of the UBS Department.
The dignitaries applauded the efforts of the participants and gave them valuable insights and motivation to keep pace of such events in the times to come. Dr. Pavleen Soni , Head of the department congratulated the winners. She also appreciated the wholehearted support of the faculty and the zeal of students in making this event successful.
