AMRITSAR: To facilitiate the students, staff, residents and others of the Guru Nanak Dev University, in the field of medical emergency, university started emergency helpline number 7087707052. This number will operate 24x7 to help the university fraternity.
In a brief function, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jaspal Singh Sandhu launched this helpline number. Prof. Hardip Singh, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Karanjeet Singh Kahlon, Registrar, Prof. Sarbjot Singh Behl, O.S.D., Prof. Balwinder Singh, Prof. Incharge, Health Centre, Dr. Pawan Sharma, Incharge P&M Health Centre, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, Incharge GA Health Centre, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, Dr. Imanjit Singh Arora were also present on this occasion.
Prof. Sandhu said that University is committed for the good health of the University natives. The objective of this helpline is to ensure timely medical support to the needy.
