MOHALI: The University School of Physiotherapy & Radiology (USPR), Rayat Bahra University, organised a Free Health Check-up Camp on the university campus. The camp was inaugurated by Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra. Dr SK Bansal, Dean Academics, was present on the occasion. Dr Lalit Kumar Gupta, Dean, who was Organising Chairperson, oversaw the planning and execution of the camp.
The camp was conducted in collaboration with several reputed organisations. The National Rehabilitation Institute played a key role under the leadership of Dr Saraswati Gupta (Executive Director). ENT services were provided by Satbir Singh (Speech and Hearing Pathologist), along with five hearing specialists deputed by Dr Jaimanti Bakshi, Prof. & Head of the ENT Department, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
The Dental College and Hospital, Rayat Bahra University, was represented by Principal Prof. Dr. Akshay Sharma and Dr. Neena Mehta, who offered dental consultations and screenings. From the University School of Allied Health Sciences (USAHs), Dr. Pankaj Kaul (Dean) and Tarandeep Singh contributed to lab coordination and diagnostics.
The camp was a major success, serving both the staff and students of Rayat Bahra University, with a total of around 250 beneficiaries.
