MANDI GOBINDGARH: Students of the Desh Bhagat University have won prizes in a competition organised by District Red Ribbon Club at Sri Guru Granth Sahib University, Fatehgarh Sahib.
In this event, various competitions were organised in which slogan writing contests, poster making competition and cultural activities were included. Jasmine Kaur got first prize in poster making, Rabia Hussain got third prize in slogan writing and an appreciation award was given to DBU’s international student Thomus Fyarama.
Dr Zora Singh, Chancellor, Desh Bhagat University, congratulated the students for their achievement. He expressed happiness at the fact that DBU students have regularly been gaining recognition and appreciation in different fields of education and curricular activities in which they have been participating at University, State, national and international levels.
Dr Tajinder Kaur, Pro Chancellor and Dr Sandeep Singh, President, Desh Bhagat University, also congratulated the students for their achievement.
