CGC Jhanjeri organised the Union Budget Conclave-2024

MOHALI: CGC Jhanjeri organized 'Union Budget Conclave-2024 to educate its students. Where renowned personalities from various disciplinarians were invited to put forward their experience and highlight the pros and cons of the latest budget presented by the Government of India and how it can affect the country.

These experts told the students how it can affect every section of the budget in the current economy of the country. Campus Director Dr. Neeraj Sharma welcomed the guests and encouraged the students to consider their valuable views in this post-budget analysis session carefully. Among the prominent figures who participated in this session, Dr. Rajeev Khosla, Professor, Institute of Management, DAV College, Panjab University, Dr. Ajit Singh, former Deputy Inspector General of CISF and former Finance Officer, Central University, Bathinda, Mohit Garg, Partner and Vice President, IDFC First Bank and Vijay C. Roy, Special Correspondent, Tribune Business and Economy, Chandigarh.

Dr. Rajiv Khosla commenced the day by unraveling the rationale behind the substantial fund allocation in the interim budget, emphasizing its temporal significance. Mohit Garg hailed the budget as a visionary roadmap for national development. The final speaker, Vijay C Roy provided a detailed breakdown of budget allocations across diverse sectors. Dr. Rajiv Khosla discussed Budget will help India deliver aspirational yet people-centric, inclusive development.

After this talking about budget preparation, employment situation, GDP, and consumption rate were also discussed. Dr. Vishal Sagar said that this budget has a positive outlook. Meanwhile, the future managers also asked many questions to the intellectuals, which they answered in the best way.

While speaking on the occasion, Arsh Dhaliwal, MD CGC Jhanjeri said that keeping students aware of the day-to-day affairs of the country is extremely helpful for building self-confidence and overall personality growth of the students.

Speaking on this occasion, CGC President Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal said that it is important for students to have practical knowledge as well as technical knowledge.
