Ayurveda PhD scholars workshop organized in Desh Bhagat University

MANDI GOBINDGARH: Desh Bhagat University hosted an Ayurveda Ph D Scholars Workshop, focusing on research methodology. The event witnessed participation from PhD scholars representing various states across the nation.

In his welcoming address, Deputy Director of Research, Dr Dharmendra Singh, underscored the importance of presenting research that can withstand rigorous scrutiny. He assured prompt resolution of any issues related to chosen research topics.

Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Abhijit Joshi, delineated the regulations governing PhD programs as per UGC standards. He emphasized the abundant global opportunities available in the field of Ayurveda and stressed the significance of selecting research topics pertinent to current demands. He advised scholars to have faith in the process of addressing immediate challenges. He encouraged scholars to select research topics that resonate with contemporary needs and can be completed within the stipulated 30-month timeframe outlined by UGC guidelines.

Dr. Kulbhushan, Director of Desh Bhagat Ayurveda college and Hospital characterized the workshop as a unique initiative aimed at aiding PhD scholars in selecting research topics and addressing their concerns. The workshop provided valuable insights into the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, tailored to meet the scholars' temporal requirements.

Distinguished attendees included Dr. Smita Johar, Ayurveda Principal; Dr. S.D. Pandey, Director of Clinical Research; Dr. Amandeep Sharma, Vice Principal of Ayurveda college and hospital, among others. The stage was conducted by Dr. Renu Sharma.
