Amritsarf DC started free coaching classes for girls to prepare for the competitive examinations of government jobs

AMRITSAR: In today's times girls should become self-reliant and work hard to stand on their own feet so that their status can be elevated in the society.
These words were expressed by Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman, District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar Mr Ghansham Thori. According to the directives of the District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar, free coaching classes were started for girls to prepare for the competitive examinations of government jobs under the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” scheme.
Giving information, the Deputy Commissioner said that during this new initiative, around 70 girls will be prepared to pass competitive exams to make them eligible for government jobs. Addressing the girls, he said that you should prepare for these competitive exams by putting effort so that you too can make your place in the government job. He said that a screening test was conducted for the candidates for this coaching classes. In which about 1170 candidates had applied for the test and about 70 eligible candidates were selected for coaching after the screening test.
Giving more information in this regard, Assistant Commissioner Mr. Vivek Modi said that Gianam Amritsar Coaching Institute has given the applicants S.SBoard/Railway Selection Board/Banks competitive exams etc. will be prepared. District Program Officer Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur informed about this scheme to the applicants who came under the scheme "Beti Bachao, Beti Phadao". Neelam Mahe, Deputy Director, District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar, said that these classes will be held at the District Employment and Business Bureau, Amritsar.
