A 45-day Chef Training on skill development valedictory function concluded.

BADDI(HP): A 45-day Chef Training Program on skill development and entrepreneurship concluded at Maharaja Agrasen University on Tuesday.

The Tourism Finance Corporation of India (TFCI), through its CSR sponsorship facilitated the program in association with the Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (RCED) in collaboration with Maharaja Agrasen University. The program trained 30 students all belonged to marginalized section of the society in the Chef Trade. It was inaugurated on January 10. The conclusion of the program was graced by esteemed dignitaries.

The program was started with the address of Prof (Dr) R.K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor of the Maharaja Agarsen University. He welcomed the dignitaries and talked about the relevance of the program. He appreciated the indulgence of the trainees in the program and also discussed about the chef training program.

Paramjit Singh led an enlightening session, enriching participants with invaluable insights. The ceremony acknowledged the pivotal role played by TFCI and RCED, expressing profound gratitude for their efforts. Attendees, including Mr. Anoop Bali, Whole Time Director, Tourism and Finance Corporation India Limited, Mr. Sanjay Ahuja, SVP ; C S, Tourism Finance Corporation of India Limited, Dr. R.K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Agrasen University, Mr. Suresh Gupta, Nominee Chancellor of Maharaja Agrasen University, Mr. Paramjit Singh, Director of RCED, Dr. A.K. Vashisht, Professor and Director of PCJ School of Management, Mr. Satwinder Singh, Senior Advisor, RCED commemorated the occasion.

Certificates were awarded to the candidates by the Vice Chancellor of the University and marked the successful completion of the program. The event evoked pride and joy among the candidates and they received congratulation and wished them success in their future endeavors from the guests and dignitaries. They expressed sincere appreciations to RCED, TFCI, and Maharaja Agrasen University for fostering their skill development journey. The director RCED ensured comprehensive placement assistance for all candidates whether they opted for wage employment or pursued self-employment..At the end, all dignitaries have the taste of lunch prepared by the trained chef.
