Jeevan/Raja rally to move into doubles semis in France

INDIANAPOLIS:Fourth seeded Indian pair of Jeevan Nedunchechiyan and Purav Raja side-stepped Teymuraz Gabashvili of Russia an Maxme Janvier of France in a hard-fought doubles quarter-final victory by 3-6, 6-1, 10-5 in the €66, 640 Open Blot Rennes, France.
In the doubles semi-final the Indian pair will now challenge Netherlands duo of Bart Stevens and Tim Van Rijthoven who ousted their countrymen Mats Hermans and Glenn Smits in straight sets 6-3, 6-2.
BALAJI-HIROKI DEFEATED
Jamie Cerretani of America and Fabian Fallert of Germany defeated N Sriram Balaji of India and Japanese Hiroki Moriya3-6, 7-6 (5) 10-7 in a closely fought doubles quarter-final of the $ 52, 080 Istanbul Challenger Ted Open, Turkey .
The Indo-Japanese pair earned $640 and 15 ATP points.
