CHANDIGARH: The Wakeboard and Water Ski Association of Chandigarh (WWSAC), under the aegis of the Wakeboard and Water Ski Federation of India, successfully organized the Chandigarh Open National Wakeboard and Waterski Championship 2025. The event was held from September 10 to11at the Sukhna Lake Sports Complex, Chandigarh and concluded with a positive note on Thursday.
The championship witnessed participation from talented athletes across the country, showcasing their skills in wakeboard and waterski competitions. Indian Oil Corporation Limited was the main sponsor of this prestigious event.
Daniel Banerjee, Assistant Director, Hospitality Department, Chandigarh Administration, inaugurated the two-day event. The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Amarinder Singh Kang as the Chief Guest.
The event aimed to promote water sports and provide a platform for athletes to demonstrate their expertise. The championship was a huge success, and the organizers appreciate the support of all participants, sponsors, and officials who contributed to its success.
