TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO: India raced to an effortless 174-run victory over Ireland in the ICC World Cup Under-19 Cricket at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy here today. India posted 307 for 5 and bundled out Ireland for 133 in 39 overs.
Openers Angkrish Raghuvanshi (79) and Harnoor Singh (88) started the Indian innings in a whirlwind fashion by stitching a powerful 164 runs partnership for the first wicket partnership in 25.4 overs. This association was terminated by Jamie Forbes who got the opener caught by Josh Cox. Raghuvanshi's one-run-one ball 79 contained ten boundaries and two sixes.
Nishant Sindhu (36) and Rajangad Bawa (42) further bolstered the Indian innings with a 64-run partnership for the third wicket. India posted an impressive total of 307 for 5 in 50 overs.
