Dev Samaj College organises Traffic Awareness Workshop

CHANDIGARH: Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36- B, Chandigarh organised Traffic Awareness Workshop on the theme Importance of Wearing Helmet in collaboration with NSS Unit of college, Traffic Police Chandigarh and The Times of India, Delhi. Mr. Rajendra Singh, ASI, Chandigarh Police highlighted the need of becoming role models for the coming generation.

It is essential to serve the nation which is possible only if we are mentally and physically fit. He arranged various in hand practices for the college students through role play. Besides, he also arranged quiz activity with regards to following traffic rules.

Ms. Pooja Wadhani with her team members Rishi Tandon and Manoj Gambhir gave the presentation of importance of wearing helmet. She informed the audience that we should follow the safety measures by using adequate helmet which could save the life of people. She also introduced the motto ‘Hurt your Helmet not Your Head’.

Dr. (Mrs.) Agnese Dhillon, Principal, Dev Samaj College of Education motivated and congratulated the students for their voluntarily and active participation for their creative endeavors. She also congratulated the NSS Officers, Mrs. Charanjit Kaur and Dr.Harpreet Kaur and for their successful efforts.
