CHANDIGARH:Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association has organized CLTA-AITA Championship Series (CS-3) Tennis Tournament for Boy’s & Girl’s under-16 from 15th to 17th February 2021.
CLTA Trainees top seed Aditya Chauhan and 2nd seed Vanya Arora clinch boys and girls singles titles. Aditya Chauhan defeated 3rd seed Ekamjeet Singh Cheema in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. Aditya Chauhan played in a top foam, Aditya dominant with his big serve and vary the sorts. Aditya won the 1st set 6-3 without getting much pressure, in the 2nd set Aditya maintained his momentum and took the 2nd set and match 6-0 without conceding a single game. In the Girls under-16 singles Finals Vanya Arora defeated Rubani Kaur Sidhu in straight sets. Vanya won the 1st set 6-1, in the 2nd set Vanya played consistently and maintained her level of game to close the 2nd set and match 6-2 easily.
Dr. Reet Mahinder Sindh, Member, Executive Committee and Mr. Romen Singh, Chief Coach, CLTA distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up of both the events.
