KULLU (HP) : Training Program on “Self Employed Tailor under Apparel” was
successfully completed at Village Pali, Panchayat Bari, Teh. Nirmand, Distirct
Kullu, Himachal Pradesh on Saturday.
This skill development program was sponsored by Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam
Ltd (SJVNL) for the women of Project Affected Families of Rampur Hydro
Project. A total of 30 women were trained over a period of nearly four months.
Regional Centre for Entrepreneurship (RCED), Chandigarh, conducted
the training session professionally and as per approved Government of India
norms prescribed by NSDC.
Along with certificates, the sewing machines to all 30 successful trainees
were distributed. It was a very well organized program and all the participants
learnt the skills of cutting and tailoring to perfection.
At the valedictory function Mr. Ravi Negi, the Head of Rampur was the
chief guest and it was attended by Mrs Kaushalya Negi, Sr.Manager, SJVNL, Mr
Amit, Manager of SJVNL, Rampur Project Mr. Rajan Sehgal, General Manager
RCED, Ms. Uma Devi, RCED Trainer.
The Panchayat Pradhan and other local body officials, Mahila Mandal
Pradhan and local villagers attended the colorful function which culminated
with traditional Natti Dance.
