Haryana Staff Selection Board to conduct exam for 600 posts in 17 districts on Jan 9 and 10

CHANDIGARH: Haryana Staff Selection Commission has set up 879 examination centres in 17 districts for the examination to be conducted on January 9 and January 10, 2021 for 600 posts of Gram Sachiv. About 6.72 lakh candidates will appear for the examination.

This information was given in a review meeting held with all the District Deputy Commissioners here today under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Mr. Vijai Vardhan.

The Chief Secretary directed the Deputy Commissioners to conduct the examination in a peaceful and transparent manner. He said that the standard operating procedure (SOPs) of COVID-19 pandemic and the guidelines issued by the Central and State Government should be followed at all examination centres. Also, rapid response teams should be deployed at the examination centres. Apart from this, he directed the District Education Officer to ensure that rooms of examination centres are sanitized.

Vijai Vardhan also directed the officer concerned to ensure the availability of thermal scanners and sanitizers at the examination centres besides, wearing of masks should also be ensured in view of COVID-19 pandemic.

Secretary of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, Ms. Isha Kamboj, who was also present in the meeting, said that the examination will be conducted in four sessions on Saturday and Sunday and around 1.70 lakh candidates will appear in each session.
