CHANDIGARH: Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh today submitted his resignation from his post while demanding an independent probe into allegations of sexual harrassment against him in Chandigarh.
Sandeep Singh said that allegations against him are manupulated and he has decided to resign for the sake of an independent probe. He said that he was goven a responsibility by Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and he has handed it back to CM untill the probe is completed.
Chandigarh Police has registred FIR against Sandeep Singh in secogtr 26 police station on the complaint of a junior coach in Haryana sports department who alleged sexual harrassment.
