CHANDIGARH : Haryana power engineers Association held protest gate meetings today at Hissar, Kaithal, Panchkula, Sirsa, Bhiwani and other stations against illegal suspension of Baljit Beniwal SSE Hissar under pressure from workers unions.
K K Malik General Secretary of Haryana Power Engineers Association said that the circle level protest meetings demanded the immediate reinstatement of suspended engineer, otherwise they will be forced to intensify their agitation after Wednesday.
Rampal President of the Association said at Kaithal that at present three days protest meetings from today have been planned.
Ravinder Ghagas Executive member said at Hissar that Baljit Beniwal has been illegally suspended though the fault lies with the junior engineer. The engineers across Haryana is greatly perturbed over this action The workers union put up a
false allegation against SSE to the management and got him suspended without any fault.
The Association alleged that the junior engineer was careless about his working towards HVPN for the last few months and he should have been suspended.
Robin Sheokand Vice President informed that the management has called the Association for discussion on Wednesday
in this matte . In case the matter is not resolved the agitation may flare up
and the management will be responsible for this.
