KAITHAL: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that Haryana is known for its brave farmers, brave soldiers and brave wrestlers. While special attention is being given to infrastructure to promote sports in the state, apart from financial assistance, the future of the players is also being secured by providing them reservation in jobs under A, B, C category.
Chief Minister Manohar Lal was speaking as the chief guest at the Parliamentarian Sports Competition organized in Kaithal today. On this occasion, he honored the winning teams with prizes and also announced to give Rs 1, 000 each to all the players and coaches participating in the MP sports competition. Motivating the players to play in the spirit of sports, the Chief Minister said that 1100 sports nurseries are already running in the state to promote sports and this time in the budget it has been decided to open 400 more new sports nurseries. He told that the players who win international competitions are given the highest incentive amount in the entire country. An amount of Rs 6 crore is given to the Olympic gold winner, which is the highest from any state.
He said that by giving reservation in government jobs to the players, they are strengthened economically. He said that 500 posts of A, B, C category of government jobs were created, out of which 223 posts have been filled. Apart from this, the results of 13 thousand posts of Group D will be declared soon, in which also 1300 players will be given jobs.
On this occasion, BJP State President and MP Shri Naib Singh Saini praised the new sports policy made by the Chief Minister and said that as a result of it, players of the state are bringing medals for the state and the country in national and international level competitions. .
Chief Minister Manohar Lal gave 55 Horsepower Indo Farm tractor, medal, certificate and shield to the team of Kaithal which stood first in this sports competition and 45 Horsepower Indo Farm tractor, medal, certificate and shield to the team of Kurukshetra which stood second.
