KAPURTHALA: Apart from providing information to the farmers through the Kisan Call Center, the Punjab Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department has now launched the WhatsApp Helpline No. 62831-91730.
Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Deepti Uppal said that the Punjab Government has appointed Dr. Gurwinder Singh has been appointed Superintendent at the state level.
He said that the farmers should be provided information on agriculture and non-burning of straw such as subsidy on straw handling equipment and its process, chatboat facility for answering agricultural questions, latest seeds and timely crop care and maintenance. Information can also be obtained.
Under this another great facility has been provided that the farmers can also get advice by sharing the picture as per the requirement of their crop. He appealed to the farmers to save this WhatsApp helpline in their phone and avail maximum benefit of this service.
