NURMAHAL: The Nurmahal police have booked two convicts for jumping bail.
The Station House Officer (SHO)Gurindar Jit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Raj Kumar a resident of Chuheki village and Jiwan Polo a resident of Kandola Kalan village .
Superintendent of Central Jail Ludhiana complained to the police that convicts were released from Kapurthala Jail on parole but did not present themselves at the jail after the expiry of leave.
SHO said that cases sections 8 (2) and 9 of The Punjab Good Conduct Prisoner Temporary Release Act has been registered against the accused.
