NAWANSHAHR:In Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, three patients were discharged from the hospital today after 10 days of isolation while four more patients tested positive in the evening, bringing the number of active cases in the district to 18.
Giving this information, Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajinder Bhatia said that the three patients who were discharged today were from Delhi and included a three-year-old child and his parents. They have been directed to stay in home quarantine for 7 days.
He further said that out of the four newly arrived cases, three cases were related to migrant workers from UP / Bihar who were living on tubewells outside the villages . Each of these cases is related to Jadla, Ratanda and Baghoran villages . He said that the fourth case was related to a resident of village Tajpur near Rahon. He works in a battalion of Punjab Police.
