The SGPC shut down a fake website running in the name of Saragarhi Niwas

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has closed the account of cheating the devotees through a fake website in the name of reserving a room at Saragarhi Niwas.
The Internet Department of the Shiromani Committee has found the IP address of the fake website running in the name of Saragarhi Niwas. This process has been completed by finding the address.
Speaking in this regard, Secretary of the Shiromani Committee. Pratap Singh said that the Shiromani Committee had filed a complaint in this regard with the police administration, but no concrete action was taken by the police.
He said that this is a very serious matter related to the Sangat, because for some time some devotees have been cheated in the name of reserving a room at an inn related to Sri Darbar Sahib.
He said that the Shiromani Committee has given the IP address of this fake website. After finding out the address, it has been closed for the time being and now it is the responsibility of the police administration to arrest the culprits and take appropriate legal action. He also said that along with this, the money of the victims of fraud should also be returned.
Meanwhile, the manager of the inn related to Sri Darbar Sahib. Gurpreet Singh said that fraud was being committed by a thug by creating a fake website in the name of Saragarhi Niwas to book rooms. Started and shut down this fake website.
He appealed to the Sangat to use the official website of the Shiromani Committee www.sgpcsarai.com to reserve a room online at Sri Darbar Sahib.
