Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha paid obeisance at Sri Darbar Sahib

AMRITSAR: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan paid obeisance at Golden Temple this morning and prayed for the welfare of Punjab. He bowed like a humble devotee at Sri Darbar Sahib and Sri Akal Takht Sahib and listened to Shabad Kirtan.

Talking to reporters outside the Golden Temple, he said that the intention of the Punjab government for the betterment of the state was very clear and sincere.

He said that it would take time to unravel the entanglement of 75 years but Punjab would be prosperous again, this was the guarantee of the government.

He said that today I have also prayed to Guru Ram Das for the welfare of all and Guru Maharaj will surely do grace.

He later attended the 130th founding year function of Sant Singh Sukkha Singh Educational Institutions as the Chief Guest. He hailed the thinking of Sardar Sant Singh, the founder of the institute and said that it was due to the thinking of such Gursikhs that the institute prepared thousands of students for social service and hoped that by the grace of Guru Sahib this institute would provide education, social service and The charity of humanity will continue to be distributed. Addressing the children, he encouraged them to set big goals and said that if a person works sincerely for what he thinks, then his goals will be achieved. He emphasized on educating the children as well as the humanitarian lessons being imparted by the organization.

He congratulated the management of the institute on this auspicious occasion and assured all possible support from the Punjab government. On this occasion MLA S. Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijhar Ajay Gupta and Baba Bakala Sahib MLA S. Dalbir Singh Tong also graced the occasion.
Giani Kewal Singh, Principal Gurpreet Singh, Advocate Jaswinder Singh and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
