CHANDIGARH: Shiromani Akali Da;( Badal) is leading in Taran Taran bye-poll after first round of counting. AAP is at second place, Congress third and Independent Mandip Singh at fourth place. BJP is at the last spot.
As per reports, SAD candiate Sukhwinder Kaur has got 5843 votes in first round, AAP candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu got 4363 votes, Congress candidate Karanbir Singh Burj got 2955 votes and Mandip Singh got 1889 votes and BJP candiate Harjeet Singh Sandhu received only 435 votes.
