SGPC starts Langar seva. for patients at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital

AMRITSAR: Patients and their accompanying companions who have come for treatment at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Hospital will be able to eat the langar brought from the door of Sri Guru Ramdas Ji.

The formal inauguration of the langar seva was Started today by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami after chanting the Mool Mantra and Gur Mantra and then offering prayers.

It is noteworthy that the In-House Committee of the Shiromani Committee had approved this work in the past. Upon reaching Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Hospital today, , Advocate Dhami was welcomed by the Director Principal of the hospital, Dr. Rajiv Devgan and Medical Superintendent, Dr. Karamjit Singh.

Speaking on the occasion, SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the SGPC has always been striving for humanitarian work in the light of the message and inspiration of the Gurus. It was under this that it was decided to arrange langar for the patients and other needy people coming for treatment at Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji Hospital.
