SGPC officials inquire about the condition of Sikhs injured in the attack in Poonch

AMRITSAR: Shiromani Committee officials reached the hospital to inquire about the condition of the Sikhs injured in the attack in Poonch and assured all possible help from the Shiromani Committee. Shiromani Committee Secretary Pratap Singh and Manager of Sri Darbar SahibS. Rajinder Singh Ruby met Gurmeet Singh and Kak Rajvansh Singh, who are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Amritsar.

Giving information about this, the Secretary of the Shiromani Committee Pratap Singh said that during the tense situation in the country, Sikhs were coming to Jammu from Poonch recently, when a Sikh died due to an attack on a convoy of vehicles and Gurmeet Singh, his son Kak Rajvansh Singh and other family members were seriously injured.

He said that among the injured Gurmeet Singh and uncle Rajvansh Singh were admitted to a private hospital in Amritsar, where they are being treated by doctors.

Secretary Pratap Singh said that the SGPC considers it its duty to stand with humanity in times of trouble and is fully fulfilling its responsibility even in the current situation.

He said that special arrangements have been made for accommodation and langar in nearby Gurdwaras for the people who have left their homes from the border area on the instructions of SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami. Along with this, the holy forms of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji are also being transported to a safe place from the Gurdwaras of the vacated villages.

Secretary Pratap Singh appealed to the people of the border area to contact the nearby historical Gurdwaras in case of need.
