SGPC delegation meets Deputy Commissioner to cancel mutation and file case with SSP

AMRITSAR: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has demanded that the Deputy Commissioner of Mohali cancel the transfer of land in the case of Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib Mohali, submit an application to prohibit any further sale of this land, and also demand that the SSP of Mohali register a case against the accused in this fraud.
Giving information in this regard, SGPC Chief Secretary Kulwant Singh Mannan said that on the instructions of SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, a delegation of SGPC today met the Deputy Commissioner of Mohali and demanded action in the case of fraudulent sale of land of Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib.
He said that this delegation included SGPC Secretary Pratap Singh, Deputy Secretary Gurnam Singh, Legal Advisor Advocate Amanbir Singh Syali and Manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Sri Amritsar Rajinder Singh Ruby.
He said that in the written demand made by the Shiromani Committee, it was stated that Gurdwara Sri Amb Sahib Mohali Manager Rajinder Singh Tohra has betrayed the trust of Gurdwara Sahib by committing fraud.
He has committed the big crime of grabbing money by selling land through fraudulent documents. This property is the trust of Gurdwara Sahib, the transfer of which should be cancelled and its further sale should be banned.
Mannan said that along with this, a written demand has also been made to the SSP of Mohali to immediately register a case against the manager Rajinder Singh Tohra and other accused involved in this fraud.
He said that those who damage the property of Gurdwara Sahib will not be spared in any way and no relaxation will be given in the action against them.
