AMRITSAR: Shiromani Gurdawara Parbhandak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has strongly condemned the wearing of a T-shirt with Jagdish Titler's picture on it at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib and taking pictures of it and making it viral.

He said that a complaint will be lodged with the police for action against the person who has done this act.

Advocate Dhami said that Jagdish Tytler is the main culprit of the Delhi Sikh massacre, which the Sikh community can never forgive. Wearing a T-shirt with the picture of such a person and coming to Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is an act that irritates the Sikhs.

He said that according to the information, the person who did this rash act is Karamjit Singh Gill, a Congress representative from Amritsar, from which it is clear that he has taken this action under a deliberate conspiracy.

The Shiromani Committee president said that Congress has been anti-Sikh from the beginning and its attack on Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1984 and Delhi Sikh massacre are unforgettable. Today, the Congress leader has hurt Sikh sentiments by displaying the picture of Sikh massacre accused Jagdish Tytler at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib.

Advocate Dhami said that Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib is the main religious place of Sikhs and is also a center of faith for the people of the whole world. Here everyone bows down to get mental peace and spiritual strength. He said that the act of hurting Sikh sentiments at this holy place cannot be tolerated, regarding which the Shiromani Committee will take action.

Meanwhile, Shiromani Committee Deputy Secretary Media. Kulwinder Singh Ramdas said that on the order of SGPC President a case has been registered against the person who provoked the Sikhs at Sachkhand Sri Harimandar Sahib.

Ramdas said that according to the recording of the CCTV camera, this person entered Parkarma from Ata Mandi side and after taking a photograph went back without bowing down.

He said that it is clear from this that this person had deliberately come to do some mischief and not to pay homage to Guru Sahib.
